Resume Now - Watch out for the auto-subscription
Yes.. you sign up for a low fee to look at resume templates and possibly complete a resume.
BEWARE...this company participates in the illegal ( in Canada) practice of auto-subscription. Unless you cancel the subscription ( you never wanted in the first place) within 14 days, they will begin billing you monthly. In my case over $550 Canadian dollars between March 2016 and Jan. 2017 when my husband asked me about the entry on our credit card statement.
At no time did Resume Now email me and notify me of this practice. In the "very fine" print on their contract they mention 'auto subscription'. What ever happened to the honest practice of signing up for a service/ subscription you want as opposed to the automatic subscription you have to opt out of. This is consumer fraud short and simple and a desperate attempt to get money from consumers.
I would expect thus type of marketing from the "free sample skin cream" companies ...
but a Resume company ... Shame on you!!!!
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $550.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
